Leads are captured from numerous sources, both online and offline. Examples of online lead capture include web forms, Facebook Lead Ads, LiveChat, educational emails, free consultations, free samples, free guides, webinars, coupons and contests.

Some of these are old and some are relatively new on the scene, but all have been shown to be effective as lead capture tactics.

Offline lead capture might come from business card scanning, SMS opt-ins, and reply envelopes returned to your company, and while they may not have digital appeal, they can still bring in leads, and that’s the bottom line.
